TALK TO ME

invites you to RSVP and join us at

Regal Union Square Theater, Wednesday June 27th at 8:00PM.

 Remember: First Come First Serve

Academy Award nominee Don Cheadle portrays the one and only Ralph Waldo “Petey” Greene Jr.; Petey’s story is funny, dramatic, inspiring - and real. In the mid-to-late 1960s, in Washington, D.C., vibrant soul music and exploding social consciousness were combining to unique and powerful effect. It was the place and time for Petey to fully express himself - sometimes to outrageous effect - and “tell it like it is.” With the support of his irrepressible and tempestuous girlfriend Vernell (Taraji P. Henson), the newly minted ex-con talks his way into an on-air radio gig.

Overall I enjoyed the movie very much also, something to add to the DVD collection. It was worth waiting in line for. Sorry for those who waited in line so long and did get to catch the show. Next time bring a chair like my friend and I did! But I must admit the room they held the movie was quite small. But hey they did say 1st come 1st Serve.

I got there at 6 cuz I really wanted to see the movie. Saw it...Loved it. I honestly can't say what the experience was like for those behind me cuz I was second in line. Sorry if you had a bad experience. Advice: get there early if you really wanna see the movie.

poor organization--They started letting people in at 7:45pm for a 8:00PM screening of a film. They allowed too many people in.They ended up having too many people and too liitle seats. The film started at 8:35pm
