Free dinner and live action performance art!!!!
Hello this is the beginning of a two month project please come to see the performances and have dinner with us.. it will be Dominican food! This event is dedicated to Silvano Lora the founder of Performance Art in the Dominican Republic Silvano Lora made his first performance there in 1959. Silvano Lora died two years ago and members of the Colectivo Chocolater were friends with him so they dedicate the pieces to him. The work will be engaging and intense as in the wonderful spirit of Silvano Lora's work.

Colectivo Chocolatero is a collective of performance artists who put performance art on the map in the Dominican art scene, and turned it into one of the arts most dynamic and innovative elements.
As Artists-in-Residence at Grace Space, Colectivo Chocolatero will be welcoming visitors for meals, sharing their creative processes and exchanging ideas, while creating performances throughout their residencies in Brooklyn and upstate NY.
