Remember when Simian Mobile Disco played in NYC? You should, cause it was last month. If you missed that amazing show, SMD member James Ford will more than make it up to you.
True story... James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco was playing soccer
with the Arctic Monkeys and broke his collar bone (don't worry
folks, he is going to be okay). Unfortunately he won't be able to
DJ for us this week as his Doctor told him not to... Funnily enough
though, our friends Bloc Party are in town, and were planning to
stop by Hiro on Thursday (after their appearance on the Conan O
Brien show). So after a little gentle persuasion, we can announce
that Kele (along with one or two other as yet unspecified members
of the band) will be filling the big hole that James left behind,
and DJing for us at this week's Cheeky B*stard Party.
Copenhagen's finest - Kasper Bjorke - will also be spinning
And come early for The Glass - who will be playing live.
Oh... did we mention the Lucky Beer Open Bar from 10pm to 11pm???
