Recently back from her performances at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow , Russia - international singer, songwriter and recording artist Chanda Rule is on fire and ready to debut her new CD, “I Too Speak of a River.”   Embracing, blending and creatively expanding the boundaries of Jazz, Gospel and R & B, Chanda brings a “whole notha take” to music – in a style she coined, “Nu-Jazz.”   “I Too Speak of a River” features both a wide range of breath-taking original compositions and a startling crafted interpretation of Benard Ighner’s , “Everything Must Change.” Rule lays her heart on the line; seeking to go beyond winning audiences – Chanda yearns to reach out, engage and inspire them through her music of love, life and hope… No easy task, yet Chanda’s striking presence, vocal beauty, power and versatility never fails to command the stage - gracefully mesmerizing audiences, even when opening for such greats as India Arie, Angie Bofill and Amel Lorrieux – and her premiere BAMCafé Live appearance promises nothing less.
