Teapacks (aka Tipex) represented Israel in the 2007 Eurovision contest, and now they're touring the US. An eccentric band that blends middle eastern, pop, funk, rock, humor, and social commentary, in several languages (including Hebrew and English), they've recorded 7 albums and are often selected "band of the year" by Israeli radio stations.
Izabo's music has been described as a "Brilliant, action packed combination of Psychadelic Rock, Disco, Punk and Arabic spices", or, if we are to name-drop, like an unlikely cross between Led Zeppelin, the Talking Heads, and Um Kultum. Featuring high-to-ultra-high vocals, twisting and expressive arab-flavoured guitar work, powerfully funky basslines, arrogantly catchy keyboards and intense disco beats, Izabo have established themselves as one of Israel's most absorbing live acts.
Erez a.k.a. dj handler is the founder and director of Shemspeed, Modular Moods, an independent record label, and the Sephardic Music Festival. As the brains behind Modular Moods and many of the hyped parties in and around NYC, dj handler defies musical stereotypes. As a multicultural maestro, he spins a mix of Baile Funk and Afro Beat blended with 80's free style and hip hop, while incorporating Ashkenazic cantorial music and traditional Yemenite melodies. He frequently collaborates with non-electronic musicians, creating textural fusions of live and recorded sound. dj handler's music, style, and presence get famous US clubs to resemble the craziest festivals abroad.
