This Thursday at Hiro Ballroom, we are very happy and proud to bring you two of the most important artists from the French Electro Scene... plus one of our favorite live electro acts.

Surkin (Institubes, Paris), has remixed artists such as Boys Noize, Chromeo, DJ Mehdi, Goose, Klaxons, Para One, Yuksek - and too many more to mention. His own productions are insanely good, and we can't wait to hear him throw down a set for us.

Teki Latex has already made a name for himself as one third of TTC - the famed Paris-based electro hip-hop outfit - and is just about to release his new solo album 'Party De Plaisir' through Astralwerks here in the U.S. As an MC he is excellent (he raps in French so he sounds doubly cool) and his productions are dancefloor friendly, irresistable French pop (for people, as Teki says "who have understood that Britney Spears and Aphex Twin were the same music" - see him talk about his music here. Teki will be performing and DJing...

We'll also be celebrating the release of 33Hz's new single 'Paris Texas' (feat. Teki & Devin The Dude). 33Hz will be playing a live set - which you shouldn't miss if you know what's good for you. These guys have been tearing it up lately, since they started listening to their old Daft Punk records again.

Nick Hook (of Men Women and Children) and Peter Makebish will also be DJing.
