Wow... I think I'm the only one who had fun... Me and my brother (from out of town) got there early at like 9:30 and had a prime spot for the coat check and the open bar. I'll admit, we were initially worried when the trannies outnumbered the actual women! But whatever, all part of the fun.

We also stressed out about the dress code for no reason. I remember seeing a dude with a football jersey on, and thinking... Damn, I'm overdressed for this. But that was more of a relief than a disappointment, as there were tons of people who embraced the anything-goes dress code. And it was cool to be one of them.

Did you people not experience the rampant nudity all around you? I don't really remember leaving, but I do remember the Hot Body Contest and the Burning Angel performance afterwards. Hats off to you, Apathy! Definitely an awesome night. =]

I was disappointed too, Jamie. The waiting for the coat check was ridiculous, and people were pushing into the line which wound me up even more! Not a great start to 2008 :) Me and my boyfriend made an effort to dress up as we were concerned about not getting in - we needn't have bothered!
I did have a good time once I was in the club, and the music was good. I still love Don Hill's - but Bowie Ball was way better.

Oh yea and by the way...the dress code was NOT what the ad implied. I saw a few Rated X-themed party dressers in there...but most people were dressed in regular ol jeans and t-shirts...I've seen less demin at a sports bar. Oh the sadness!

the service from Don Hill's was TERRIBLE...but i think you just left too early. most of the acts (and Hot Body Contest) didn't go on until 2am, when everyone was showing up...
