So we all know that there are plenty of wine tastings happening throughout the city and although they are fabulous, this one takes the cake.Enjoy an entire week of FREE Italian wine tastings at the Upper West Side's Pour. They'll be Pour-ing it every night from 6pm - 8pm and ready to answer of all your deep wine related questions. Cheers!

    I must say that I was highly disappointed in this event. I was very excited that freenyc.net posted a free wine tasting event that was occurring all week! I got out of work earlier than normal and headed up to Pour...only to be faced with a lone bottle of wine sitting on a table. The two hour wine 'tasting' event was somehow supposed to be translated into taking a tiny sip of the one type of wine that was offered tonight. Not to say that the wine shop itself doesn't have its perks...but it's not cool to overpromote something that isn't really that great at all.

    To say the least, It was not worth my time.
