Free Newcastle beer--and ice cream!--at this Brooklyn art party. Watch silent Polish films from the 1920s, with live soundtrack from a brass band.
A new regular series that pairs silent film with live musical accompaniment--and in the case of this week's event, free Newcastle beer. 1920s Polish filmmaker Wladyslaw Starewicz (say that three times fast after the open bar is over) is the featured director, and a brass band provides the soundtrack. Oh, and free ice cream! We're smiling already.
