Editors' Take

Celebrate Earth Day at this day-long, solar-powered festival in Central Park. Check out a FREE concert, trees, drinks, food and the world's largest eco mural.

RSVP here to paint on the WORLD'S LARGEST GREEN MURAL with Paul Kostabi

We are creating the largest Green Mural in the world with Modern Art contemporary  Paul Kostabi utilizing the talent of 1,000 strangers, all coming together to create a 500 foot long piece, hand-assembled on the premises of Central Park during April 19th & 20th thanks to our partnership with Greenapple Festival and the Central Park Conservancy!
Gallery HD is filming a documentary of the mural. If you want to be filmed, all you need to do is RSVP here and sign a release when you pick up your blank canvas and art material.
The paint we are using is "milk paint," which is a 6000 year old all natural paint recipe. All materials will be provided for free!
This is  the only event in Central Park history to be powered entirely by the sun!
Enjoy some free goodies and music by:
* Matt Pond PA, Glint, supernumblivemachine, Don McCloskey, Justin King
Powerful keynote addresses between acts such as Donna Lieberman, Executive Director of the New York Civil Liberties Union, Laura Flanders, famous journalist/political author, Nicholas Eisenberger from GreenOrder, and Rockland County Councilman Michael Maturo with Rockland County Legislator Connie Coker.
