Tribeca's Mai House is offering diners a chance to sample the dishes cooked by Top Chef contestant Spike Mendelsohn. He'll be serving as chef de cuisine at this Vietnamese fusion spot. In honor of Spike's newfound fame, the restaurant's offering a $59 five-course tasting menu featuring the dishes Spike cooked on the show (from now until the end of the show's season).

    I've had this and it's not that great. Save your money or spend it elsewhere if you want a consistent/ good meal.
