We are back at R-Bar for another Thursday-night shindig....
This time, the UK's
Shit Disco are coming over to the US for a DJ tour - so if you are looking
for some electro-fueled dance music, supplied by one of the NME's
favorite bands - you know where to come. These guys have won us
over with their Keanu Reeves-inspired 'I Know Kung Fu' and their
club hit 'OK' (you have to check out the Yuksek Remix).
Holy Hail will be playing live....
and we'll be giving out
Sparks from 10pm to 11pm (just tell the bartender you are there for the 'Sparks Power Hour'
and they will hook you up.
This is also the release party for
James Pants' new album: "Welcome" so there will be some give-aways too.
Alex English will also be DJing.
R-Bar is a great space just off the Lower East Side, with a
dancefloor, great soundsystem and recession-friendly drink prices.
