FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (11 August 2008) - The Roosevelt Island Shakespeare Company will be closing their 2nd Annual Summer Shakespeare Festival with a limited run of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, one of Shakespeare's most popular works for the stage.   The Roosevelt Island Shakespeare Company is a comprised of an eclectic group of young theater professionals who’s passion for exploring the works of William Shakespeare, enthusiasm for outdoor performance and desire to build a theater company within a community brought them together.   A Midsummer Night’s Dream performs at the Eastwood Amphitheater on Roosevelt Island, 520 Main Street New York, NY 10044 (Amphitheater is located behind the building).   Performances are Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th at 4:00pm.   Admission to all performances is free.                    

DIRECTIONS:
Take the Queens bound F train to Roosevelt Island station. Exit the station and take a right onto Main Street.
OR

Take the Roosevelt Island TRAM from 59th street and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan to Roosevelt Island. Exit the TRAM and take a right onto Main Street.
