Event Over

The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) is one of the largest independent film festivals in the world.
The festival hosts film, music and art events in New York City and Los Angeles, and attracts entries from all over the globe.
The scope of the festival ranges from high profile to novice, so one experiences an array of films and individuals driven by independent movie making. Some works have been included from Cameron Diaz, and Chistopher Walken.

The opening night kick-off party will be held at Boulevard (199 Bowery at Spring St., NYC, NY) on Thursday, March 19th from 6pm-10pm, with an after-party to follow.  Starting Friday, March 20th, over 100 films will be screened at the City Cinemas Village East.

Well allow me to fill in the blanks then and announce that March 24th is here!! And TONIGHT, at 10:10 P.M., is the long-awaited World Premiere of the comedy short "Rock in a Hard Place."

Yes, I've posted as much already (twice, I know), but I have a trailer to go along with this here message, see? As you're discoverin', there are many elements to my game.
So now, judge ye not on what I have to say, but instead on what you have to see.
After all, actions speak louder than words (right, ladies?):

Fans of Lionel Richie, Smashing Pumpkins, Crispin Glover, and "The Color Purple" will LOVE this one. (Why? I don't know. That was just some random sh*t I pulled out the air right now, but I could be half-right...)

    "Rock in a Hard Place"
    TONIGHT, March 24th, 10:10 P.M.
City CInemas Village East, Screen Six
$12 for this and 3 other flicks.
    (That damn link better work.)

"Rock" is up first, so get there a shade early. You don't want to miss out on ANY of the hysterics. Unprecedented in short-film cinema history, as my man Tiger Woods can attest...

    Peace.

On Tuesday March 24th 10:10 P.M., immediately following a special documentary on legendary indy cinema/art-maker Lloyd Kaufman ("The Toxic Avenger", "Class of Nuke 'em High", "Terror Firmer", etc.) will be the World Premier of my short film, based on the guy you see in the picture here, to your left:

    Rock in a Hard Place

"The heartwarming story of a man made out of crack cocaine and his struggle to find himself in today's society."

    Peace.

Ya'll come on out your shells and support the great variety of movies playing at the week-long New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.

There is something to be loved (or loathed) for everybody: comedy, drama, documentary, animation, features, shorts.

You name it, they'll have it. And best believe there'll be some familiar faces mingling around. It's a nice, inexpensive way for you and your friends, or a date (!) to have some fun... and support independent cinema in the process!!!
