ABOUT OSCARTIENEALAS: myspace.com/oscartienealas

In 2001, Oscar P. Goatherd presented his project “Oscartienealas” to the world. Recording the first demo solo was a rough draft of what later would become a full band with the sounds of an eclectic trip of punk attitude with brush-strokes of Beck, Eels, Cafe Tacuba mixed with a little Aterciopelados. In 2008 the band began to takeoff after winning a prestigious battle of the bands contest in Spain "La Caja Sonora”. In addition, they debuted their first album “Como terminar de una vez por todas con Oscartienealas” (which since the debut maintains in the Top 10 of independent artists on MySpace Spain). For 2009 they expect a national release of the album including remixes and singles in the USA and Mexico. Oscartienealas is presently one of the indie bands nominated for “MySpace Generation” with great pride, something that’s been demonstrated throughout 2008 with more than 30 concerts sharing the stage with large scale and indie scale artists such as Sara Da Pin-Up, Delorean, Mandalas, Deluxe, Krakovia, Muchachito Bombo Infierno, Facto de La Fe y Las Flores Azules, NajwaJean, The Pinker Tones, Living Colour, Rinocerose, and Jamiroquai.
