$14 in adv / $16 day of show Mickey Factz took the internet & music industry by storm in 2008, not only as a blogger-favorite, but also with his weekly "leak" series, through which he leaked a new song every week via email. After opening for The Cool Kids at SOB's in April, Mickey's buzz has sky-rocketed him to star status. After adding a live band, The Automatics, to his live performance, Mickey has quickly become one of the most saught-after and exciting live acts in NYC; becoming famous for his high energy live performances that are not like typical hip-hop shows. He capped off an eventful year in 2008 with a December cover feature in XXL magazine as 'Top 10 Freshman Artist of 2009'; there's no doubt that the magazine's pick will soon seem prophetic.
