Singer/Songwriter Jason Vitelli at Kenny's Castaways - "Songs for a
Summer Renewed"
Thursday, July 9, 7:45pm
Kenny's Castaways (the Greenwich Village landmark)
Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Jason Vitelli, an emerging rocket
on the NYC music scene, will be performing a solo set at the famous
Village landmark, Kenny’s Castaways. During his live act,
Jason's original songs - a kaleidoscope of intense piano and guitar
playing powered by a remarkable voice - become a confluence of
lyrics and melody hitting the audience with fervent force. A
smattering of British rock, classic blues, folk, and grunge, his
uncompromising and unique style has been compared to early Elvis
Costello, Rufus Wainwright and Billy Joel. He will performing new
material inspired by his love affair with New York City, in
addition to pieces from his recently released CD,
No Photographs, an album inspired by the British art rock of Peter Gabriel and
David Bowie.
One copy of
No Photographs will be raffled off at the show. You can hear more of
Jason's music and learn more about him here:

nonprofit organization in New York City that provides everything
homeless people need to move from the streets to independent
living. For more information, contact
