Remember, remember the fifth of November: A Guy Fawkes Day party
In London, 1605, Guy Fawkes and his band of conspirators were foiled in their attempt to blow up English Parliament. Ever since, England has celebrated Guy Fawkes Day with bonfires, fireworks, and late-night revelry. This November 5th, we bring the holiday to Brooklyn’s Bell House. There may be no bonfire (it is inside a bar, you know), but there will be late-night revelry in the form of Britpop D.J.s, a screening of V for Vendetta, drink specials on Newcastle Brown Ale, Walkers crisps (that’s potato chips to you lot) from the Chip Shop, and everything else you need to celebrate England’s best holiday in style. And it’s free entry! Co-hosted by Brooklyn Based, this is the one Guy Fawkes Day party you won’t want to miss. (Not least because it is one of the only Guy Fawkes Day parties in NYC.)
