Cazals & Wallpaper Live!!!!!
DFA Release Party - with CD Give-Aways
Webster Hall - Friday March 6
The man many call the Godfather of house, Grammy Award winner and
legend, Frankie Knuckles, is playing a rare New York DJ Set at
Webster Hall this Friday March 6.
An internationally loved and respected dance music pioneer whose
illustrious career spans over four decades, his numerous
productions include the classics: ‘The Whistle Song’,
'Your Love' and the early house classic 'Baby Wants to Ride'
among many others.
In 2008, Frankie had us all excited again with a beautiful, deep,
discofied remix of Hercules & Love Affair’s
‘Blind’ (DFA Records) – and suddenly it seemed
like everything had gone full circle.
His popularity has never faded – he continues to pack rooms
with people who just come to dance......
DFA artists, Still Going will be spinning. Like Frankie, these
guys have a track featured on Grand Theft Auto – but that
isn’t why we booked them. Their spaced-out, laid-back disco
sound has been grabbing our ears for a while now…...
Eamon Harkin (Prime Time) and
I.J. Catling (Dance Tracks) will also be spinning.
Cazals (UK) will be performing Live at 11pm. We love these guys - and you
will too.
Come even earlier to see Wallpaper (they are great live).
This is the DFA Records Release Party for the new singles:
Woolfy's "Oh Missy",
Cage & Aviary's "Television Train" and
Capracara's "King of the Witches" - all out now on
DFA Records.
CD Give-Aways in the main room - Courtesy of DFA Records.
