2. Stage Name/ Name of Act.
3. Short Description of your Act.
4. Please write a short biography—how you would like the Hosts of the Show to introduce you to the audience.
5. I have read the Performer Gong Show Information.  I understand that submitting my act gets me a 5min (or until my moment of glory is interrupted by the Gong) Act in the show—pending Dana's approval.  She will send a conformation email.  Perks include a dressing room; to be shared by all the performers and 1/2 price drinks @ the bar to console myself. Act Registration & Audience Tix are available online @ http://www.going.com/gongshow for $5 advance or $10 at the door.

Performer Gong Show Information
1. Please arrive at Arlene's Grocery at 6:30 to prepare for the 7pm show.
2. Your Act should be 1to5 min in length.
3. If you are advanced to the finals, then be prepared to do an encore—the same Act or we recommend doing a special encore Act.
4. You must be able to set up your Act onstage in under 2 min.  We will have 1 stage manager to assist you. We suggest you ask other performers if you need more assistance.  Arlene's Grocery has a full backline that will be setup and available to you. http://arlenesgrocery.net/ backline.html for a full listing. They have Mics, Amps, Drum set (no cymbals).  We have DJ Chris OLeary to play music for you.  Please give your CD's and specific instructions to him.
5. Acts may not include fire, but should include your most spectacular talent and/or something the audience has never seen before.  We strongly encourage audience interaction.  If you have any questions or need anything special contact Dana.  She will do everything she can to accommodate you.
6. When you arrive the show order will be posted.  Please be prepared to go on 2 acts before your Act.  Please watch the other Acts.
7. The Host Allan Piper will introduce you (read your bio) as you are setting up for your Act onstage.  He may interview you before and/or after your Act. After your Act the panel of celebrity Judges ( Adam The First Real Man, Jon Darling, Greg Hoy and reigning Gong Show $100 Cash Prize winner Jessica Delfino) will give you feedback.  Please be respectful of the judges.  You will get an opportunity for a rebuttal.
8. Gong- ing.  If the Audience Boo's you or all the judges agree that your Act is bad, you will be Gonged.  Please take this in the light-hearted spirit that it is intended.
9. Contest rules.  The judges will give all the Acts feedback.  The top 3-5 Acts (chosen by judges) will get an encore performance.  After the encore performances the Audience will vote (ballot style) for the winner. Everyone in Arlene's Grocery is allowed 1 vote. That includes, the other performers, the bar staff, the judges and the Audience.  Please invite your friends to the show. We will have an Award ceremony at the end of the show, where the Judges will award superlative awards to the most distinctive Acts, as well as 1st & 2nd Runner up and 1st place prizes.  1st prize is $100 and will be paid in cash at the end of the evening.
