York, at the 5th annual Immigrant Heritage Week. Immigrant Heritage
Week is a unique annual cultural celebration, declared official by
Mayor Bloomberg in 2004, that partners with dozens of
community-based organizations, public institutions, and city
agencies to present more than 130 different events. The celebration
boasts a diverse mix of eclectic events throughout all five
boroughs, featuring everything from workshops to various types of
