WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
58 N6 MediaLabs is a large, comfortable A/V den in central Williamsburg. We mostly record cutting-edge improvisational music and chamber ensembles, but our ears are open: we also do everything from dub remixes to industrial music and drum overdubs. We’re set up for video production, too, and can accommodate small audiences for live concert recording.

MISSION: FACE THE MUSIC[IAN]
We want to see musicians and listeners interacting on a more personal and focused level. So, we’re integrating performance, production, and distribution into one efficient process. This way, audiences attending our sessions get engaged in the production process, and musicians can focus on making music.

HIGH SKILLS, LOW PROFILE.
Our staff comes from some of the finest commercial studios in New York. We’re serious about album and video production, but our live room is set up more like a big living room than a sterile studio space.
